Bhungroo Irrigation Technology is an innovative climate-change adaptation and disaster-preparedness technology developed by Indian partners and promoted by Conservation Alliance across Africa.
In Ghana it has been identified as a transformative solution for farmers in the three Northern Regions, the Afram Plains and the Accra Plains β where recurrent flooding and drought threaten food security and livelihoods. Every installation is tailored to the water, soil and environmental conditions of its site, using locally available materials for sustainability and scalability.
