A six-day, hands-on training gave CREMA beneficiaries the know-how behind their new livelihoods — under the theme "Empowering CREMA Groups through Alternative Livelihood Support."
Learning by doing, then teaching
CA, partner CBOs and the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources ran the training for CREMA beneficiaries across Juaboso and Enchi.
A Participatory, Training-of-Trainers (ToT) approach encouraged farmers to share ideas and experiences — so the knowledge would spread beyond the room. Each livelihood was taught in two parts: a lecture on the key terms and concepts, followed by small-group, hands-on demonstration.
