The vision is simple β a clean, efficient cookstove in every woman's kitchen β and its impact reaches well beyond the hearth.
Efficient stoves use far less fuelwood than open fires, easing the daily burden of gathering it and slowing the demand that drives deforestation. They also burn cleaner, cutting the household smoke that most affects the women and children closest to the fire β part of Conservation Alliance's wider work on clean energy and forest conservation.
