As part of Conservation Alliance International’s mandate to conserve biodiversity across Africa especially in forest areas, we partook in the Green Ghana Campaign together with five community based organizations from five districts in the Western North Region of Ghana. About 2,000 seedlings which include Acacia, Mahogany, Ofram, Otie, Emire, among many others were planted in schools, roadsides, hospitals, riverbanks, abandoned mined site. Green Ghana campaign should not be for just planting trees and leaving them orphans, but let’s protect it with the same enthusiasm we used to plant them. Planting a tree is much better than wearing a mask to be safe from pollution!!!
